Even professional audiences enjoy a little mental break now and then. You can use CredSpark’s gamification features to create all manner of quick, fun interactions, while still keeping the topic relevant to your audience.

What is it?

It’s fun! Our Word Play question type allows you to create a word-guessing game with as  many letters as you’d like, and as many guesses as you want to allow.

Works great for:

  • Engaging audiences.
  • Creating a stickier site experience, especially if you publish these daily or weekly
  • Collecting emails if you offer an opt-in to be notified each time a game is published.

Tips:

  • Want to deliver games on the regular? Set up a Collection and use CredSpark’s open/close dates to release a new game each day!
  • Take it up a notch by offering a hint for each word, and making that hint relevant to your audience’s particular knowledge and interests.

How To:

Step 1: Decide if you are making one Word Play or several; if more than one, get your first one perfect and then you can clone it.

Step 2: Make sure your experience feels right–are you including a clue? Direction text? What’s the call to action on the Results View? Do you want people to sign up to be notified next time a Word Play is published?

Step 3: If you’re using Collections, decide if you want a leaderboard. Further, if you want to set open/close times for your interactions, do that now. (If not, the audience member will see the most recent Word Play they haven’t solved.)
